Privacy Policy

Last updated August 4, 2026

BioChemIntelli SpA ("BioChemIntelli," "we," "us," or "our") is a company incorporated in Chile. This policy explains how we handle personal information when you visit this website, use its scientific tools, contact us, request a product launch notification, or purchase a product after commercial checkout becomes available. The public website currently has no user-registration or customer-account system.

1. Information we collect

Contact requests

The contact form collects the name, email address, subject, message, and submission timestamps that you provide. The message is stored in the BioChemIntelli website database so we can review and answer it. Do not include passwords, payment-card details, patient information, unpublished proprietary data, or other sensitive information.

Cookie-consent records

When you accept or reject optional analytics, your browser stores that choice locally. The website also records the choice, its timestamp, and a keyed one-way identifier derived from the network address presented to the application. The consent table does not retain that raw network address.

Product launch notification requests

If you ask to be notified when MolNexus becomes available, we collect the email address you provide, the product and page-source category, the applicable consent-statement version, consent timestamp, and the request's active or withdrawn status. The request is stored in the BioChemIntelli website database. It is not a general newsletter subscription, and the address is not sent to the planned checkout provider while commercial checkout remains closed.

Operational and security data

Hosting and application systems may process request time, requested URL, response status, browser or device information, and network address for delivery, diagnostics, abuse prevention, and security. BioChemIntelli's database-backed request limiter stores a keyed one-way client identifier, a request count, and the applicable time window rather than the raw address.

Scientific-tool inputs

The open tools process the sequences, sequence identifiers, parameters, or files you deliberately submit. Normal prediction requests are not designed to create permanent scientific-project records in the website database. Hosting infrastructure must still process the request to return a result.

ViralEntryPred, ViraShieldPred, VirHostPred, and vCyclePRED transmit submitted sequence data to BioChemIntelli prediction endpoints hosted on Modal. Other current open tools execute within the Django application environment. Do not submit confidential, controlled, clinical, or personally identifiable scientific data.

Orders and payments

BioChemIntelli is not currently accepting commercial orders through this website, so the site does not currently collect payment-card or completed-order data. The planned Merchant of Record is Lemon Squeezy; the provider and its terms will be displayed before checkout opens.

2. Why we use this information

  • To deliver requested pages, scientific computations, and results.
  • To answer contact and product-support requests.
  • To send the single product-availability notice you explicitly requested.
  • To record and respect your analytics choice.
  • To protect the service from excessive, automated, or abusive requests.
  • To diagnose failures and maintain platform reliability.
  • To meet applicable legal, tax, accounting, and security obligations.

3. Analytics and browser storage

Google Tag Manager and the Google Analytics 4 tag it controls load only after you choose “Accept” in the cookie banner. Rejecting optional analytics prevents those Google scripts from loading through the site's consent runtime. The current container is intended for site measurement, not advertising or remarketing.

After consent, Google Analytics 4 may collect page and session activity, referral information, approximate location, and browser or device characteristics. Google states that an IP address is used at collection time to derive location information and is then discarded before the data is logged. Google Analytics may set first-party cookies such as _ga and _ga_<container-id>.

You can change the choice by clearing this site's browser storage and reloading the page. You may also use Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on . See Google's official information about data collection , Analytics cookies , and privacy .

4. Service providers and disclosure

We use service providers only where needed to operate the platform:

  • Railway: website, application, and database hosting. See Railway's Privacy Policy .
  • Modal: inference hosting for the four scientific tools identified above. See Modal's terms .
  • Google: Tag Manager and Analytics 4, only after optional analytics consent.

We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect the platform or its users, investigate abuse, or complete a business reorganization subject to appropriate safeguards. BioChemIntelli does not sell contact-form, product-interest, or scientific-tool data.

5. Retention

The application's default retention targets are 730 days for contact requests, 395 days for analytics-consent records, 365 days from the most recent product launch notification request, and 2 days for expired request-throttle counters. Operational maintenance removes records beyond those targets. Records may be deleted earlier or retained longer where reasonably necessary for an active support matter, security investigation, legal claim, or binding legal obligation. Hosting providers may retain limited logs or backups under their own schedules.

6. International processing

BioChemIntelli and its service providers may process data in countries other than yours. Where applicable, providers rely on contractual and legal transfer mechanisms described in their terms and privacy materials.

7. Security

We use proportionate safeguards including HTTPS in production, restricted administrative access, CSRF protection, request-size limits, abuse throttling, minimized collection, and pseudonymous client identifiers in the application database. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

8. Your choices and rights

Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection concerning personal information associated with you. We may need to verify the request and may retain information where the law permits or requires it. You can reject optional analytics through the site's consent banner. You can withdraw a product launch notification request at any time by emailing the address below from the email account used in the request.

9. Children

The platform is designed for researchers, technical professionals, and scientific organizations. It is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly seek personal information from them.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the platform, providers, or legal requirements change. The revision date at the top identifies the current public version.

11. Contact

For privacy questions or requests, email jf.beltran@biochemintelli.com. Include enough information for us to identify the relevant contact, launch-notification, or order record, but do not send passwords or payment-card details.
