MolNexus is proprietary software from BioChemIntelli SpA ("BioChemIntelli"), a company incorporated in Chile. It includes open-source components that remain governed by their own licenses, and nothing in the MolNexus EULA restricts rights granted by those licenses.
AutoDock Vina
MolNexus is an independent commercial desktop application that integrates AutoDock Vina 1.2.7, an open-source molecular docking engine distributed under the Apache License 2.0. AutoDock Vina is not owned by or affiliated with BioChemIntelli. See the official AutoDock Vina repository .
Tauri, Rust, and Microsoft Edge WebView2
MolNexus 0.1.1 uses Tauri 2 and Rust components under their applicable open-source licenses, including MIT and Apache License 2.0 terms. On Windows, the application interface is rendered by the Microsoft Edge WebView2 runtime. See the official Tauri repository and Microsoft's WebView2 distribution documentation .
React and Mol*
The desktop interface uses React 19.2.8 and the embedded molecular viewer uses Mol* 5.11.0. Both are distributed under the MIT License. See the official React license and official Mol* license .
Scientific Python libraries
MolNexus also distributes scientific Python libraries under their respective BSD, MIT, Apache, LGPL, and other compatible licenses.
Notices and component inventory
The commercial release package is being prepared to include
version-specific license texts and component notices in
compliance/THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES.txt, together with a
CycloneDX software bill of materials. Checkout will not open until
the final installer has been checked against that notice set.
